Auditing Process

MSX International is the AM Awards' auditor.

Every day hundreds of consultants are visiting dealerships across the UK and for the first time this year they will be looking out for potential winners in each of the categories as they go about their business.

They will be passing on the information to AM.

We will then invite the named companies or individuals to enter the awards. In this way you can expect the entries to be more wide ranging than before and a much more complete presentation of the market.

Combining information from visits with a follow-up call once the company has entered to look deeper into its performance and planning abilities, MSXI will then carry out a full audit of shortlisted companies focusing on key areas of the business including planning, financial performance, people management and customer relationship management.

Process

As independent auditors to the AM Awards, MSX International will join the judging panel during the complete judging session in January.

Prior to this, they will be completing audits on the following categories, along with nominating dealerships that they feel should be entered for the Awards:

- Excellence in Customer Service
- Most Improved Company of the Year
- Aftersales Operation of the Year
- Sales Team of the Year (New and Used Cars)
- Best Used Car Retailer
- Best Dealership
- Best Retail Group (up to 10 sites)
- Best Retail Group (more than 10 sites)
- Franchise of the Year

It is completely free to enter; the only area of cost will be your time during the auditing process.

The audits will take place between November 10 and December 24. Only in exceptional circumstances will this be extended.
